PB Girls Dine chose to celebrate a special birthday evening at Buccan in Palm Beach. We think Buccan may well be a “state of being!” Enter this cozy yet bustling environment with five-star service and observe the chefs busily at work in the open kitchen. The menu […]

PB Girls Dine has been a huge fan of Sailfish Marina for eons! There are so many fun events at this awesome marina and restaurant, so be sure to check their Calendar. We stopped by for a late afternoon lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful […]
Two nights before Hurricane Irma of 2017 pounded ferocious winds and rain upon Palm Beach County, PB Girls Dine enjoyed a spectacular culinary experience at The Capital Grille in Legacy Place. It was a very special evening as we celebrated the 65th wedding anniversary of […]
Our PB Girls Dine team had the pleasure of visiting a favorite Palm Beach Gardens waterfront hotspot for the 2016 Boat Parade followed by a most enjoyable dinner. The Waterway Café is well-known for excellent dining (especially seafood), Sunday Brunch, awesome tropical drinks and a great Happy Hour plus a fabulous setting right on the Intracoastal Waterway. And, did you know that The Waterway Café has a floating boat bar? It’s the only one in Florida, and we love spending a relaxing afternoon sipping Margaritas there with good friends as the boats – and time – pass us by!
Let’s first talk about the food. We are hooked on the Lobster Roll . . . it’s the best in town. Another PB Girls Dine favorite on the Dinner Menu is the Blackened Swordfish, perfectly prepared each and every visit with some great sides. We like to order the Shrimp Salad Plate on the Lunch Menu. It arrives accompanied by fresh fruit, and a chocolate chip cookie!
The wine list is very good and we always tend toward the Copper Ridge Chardonnay and Canyon Road Pinot Grigio. The restaurant’s Happy Hour is 4-6:30pm on Monday – Thursday and 3-6:30pm on Fridays. Get a great view of the Intracoastal and enjoy The Waterway Café’s small plates with your fav beverage.
Be sure to join The Waterway Café’s Clipper Club for lunch-time dining. Enjoy five lunches and the fifth is free! The manager validates the card with each visit.
On to the 2016 Palm Beat Boat Parade . . . PB Girls Dine was especially fortunate to have center-stage seating at The Waterway Café for the 2016 Boat Parade. Yes, the restaurant gets jam-packed so arrive super early. (We parked across the bridge.) But, it is a spectacular location to enjoy the best in dining and views for this wonderful local celebration.
And last of all, be sure to save room for the dessert of the century: The Waterway Café’s tower, a true artistic celebration of ice cream, cookies and Snickers! (See above photo.) We rate this the very best dessert ever, and one you and your guests will never forget!

The team members at PB Girls Dine are always thrilled to dine at Le Metro, a charming bistro in Abacoa Town Center! This lovely French restaurant serves exceptional cuisine, features a terrific wine list and service that truly excels.
The salads on the Lunch Menu at Le Metro are always a sure-to-please choice. We like the Tomato Goat Cheese Salad with sliced tomatoes, crumbled goat cheese, mixed greens, olives and a balsamic vinaigrette. The Shrimp Cobb Salad is also delightful, and we especially like the “Compose Your Own Salad” feature on the menu.
If a sandwich fits your lunch-time fare, try the French Baguette, Bistro Panini or Prosciutto and Brie Tartine. On our next visit, PB Girls Dine plans to order the Chicken Aux Morille Stuffed Crepes!
Le Metro offers a three-course Early Dining Menu, Tuesday-Thursday from 5-6:30pm, and Friday and Saturday from 5-6pm, with a complimentary beverage . . . starting at only $19.95!
